Helen is indeed, one of the Atlanta area's favorite animal trainers, teachers, a veteran of adoptions and rescue for hundred of animals who were too much trouble, scheduled for euthanasia, or simply lost in the wild or wandering out on the "mean streets".
Her home and kennels are located on a beautiful small working farm/horse ranch "The Last Chance Ranch" Waco, GA in rural west Carroll County Georgia.

From this wonderful small ranch, she has literally helped save the lives of hundreds of animals of many breeds. She specializes in Sighthounds,(Greyhounds, Afghans, etc.) Huskies, and German Shepherds, along many other breeds of behaviorally challenged animals.
Her compassionate heart along with her very advanced expertise in animal behavioral training (over 30 years of training, coursework and hands-on) have assisted countless Pet Lovers to adopt very difficult dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and even many animals who were rescued from the wild.
Helen's latest endeavor is to train, socialize (then send for adoption), 6 beautiful, vigorous Husky mixed-breed babies, (whose mother bore them in the wilds on a large farm in the rural backwoods of a TN county.
The mother, an anti-social agressive wild dog, then was threatened to be shot. The babies (10 weeks old at the time) may have met some terrible fate, had Helen not volunteered her expertise, her time and her home: The Last Chance Ranch in Waco, plus use of her kennels and training arena that are currently housing them.

She's currently working diligently; via her own Demo dog, a beautiful mixed breed Husky "Penny" to re-train and socialize them. She, her son Garry, and her assistant are all helping to raise them, until they are adopted for families in the North, so they may enjoy cold and snowy winter weather.
They are scheduled for immediate adoption and are very popular on a National Web Adoption site, with many interested Northern Animal lovers wishing to have one of them as their own wonderful domesticated pet. <
